A/n: I always love being a part of the spn_j2_bigbang because everyone is so wonderfully supportive and encouraging to each other, so when I saw a great-sounding summary about Mary, John, and Bobby, I had to get my hands on it!! So I scooped up a nice little ol' fic by geeky_ramblings. After reading the whole thing, the parts that stuck out to me most were the visions of Azazel that Mary is plagued with, and knew I wanted to try to art one of those visons. And this is what I came up with!! :)

Dean Winchester Big Bang: Art for "Big Dreams & Broken Hearts" by a-winchester-fairytale

A/n: Welp, to the surprise of no one, I a) am currently swallowed by school hahahahagasphah, and b) HAD to do something for the deanwbigbang despite uh, not really having...time...to...because DEAN. XD

I scooped up a lovely Western AU by @a-winchester-fairytale, and as soon as I found a particular picture of Dean, I KNEW it had to be the focal point of the art. It was too perfect?! Anyways, I wish I had time do more pieces for this lovely fic, but here's what I have in any event. The world should always have more Dean-as-a-cowboy stuff, amiright? And for the "cast" art, I wanted to emulate really old photos, as if this was a collection found in someone's attic inside a dusty, peeling, weathered, old trunk. ;)

WIP Bang: Art for "Only Human After All" by impala_chick

A/n: So I planned to post this shortly after the official posting date...and promptly forgot. XD So I'm here now, before I descend back into the void (school) - where did summer go?????

I love doing art for wipbigbang, and there was as always, lots of goodies to choose from. Since I was feeling pretty burnt out from school, I decided to only do art for one WIP Bang fic this year. But, the second I laid eyes on impala_chick's summary, I gasped hard and scrambled to claim it. Another Teen Wolf/SPN crossover? Yes. Rufus hunting with Allison? Yesss. STILES/ALLISON?! YES YES YES. I had to have it, and the fic is fab! I'm so glad I got to art for it, and my author partner was fab too. :D

Fic title: Only Human After All
Fic summary: Lydia told her she wasn't going to escape the nogitsune, and Allison felt prepared for that. But then Scott died and she didn't, and she has to figure out how to keep on living. She turns to hunting, knowing it's something she can do far away from Beacon Hills. Her dad's friend Rufus takes her under his wing, and she lets her grief and anger fuel her missions. And then Stiles shows up at a ghost hunt, and Allison's perspective changes. He might not be such a bad partner, but what would it mean to keep him in her life?

Hello friend!!

In case you're looking for some help on what to do for me, I have - as usual - a big rambly letter. ;D

For starters, I am really excited that you are making a thing for me!! :D This letter is rambly and lengthy, BUT please know that optional details are optional. I seriously love genfic - I'm pretty much guaranteed to love whatever you choose do. Use the prompts I submitted and go wherever the muse takes you, or don't - combine, mix and match, get inspired and go sideways with it, come up with something else not related to the prompts, whatever, it's all good. :D

A/n: This is my first time doing the spn_reversebang, and I loved it - it was so much fun to just create some art, with vague ideas in mind, and let some authors loose on it. And then seeing what everyone came up with - all the other art and all the fic to go with it! SO GREAT!! I definitely hope I'll be able to do it again next year. :D

For this piece, I wanted to do something with Dean and Bela (I know, I know, I'm so predictable) in the apocalypse somehow. What hezio2/Notur Baby came up with is a great apoca-adventure fic, complete with a mini heist and low-key shipping between Dean and Bela - I couldn't have asked for more. Give it a read here!!

Marvel Bang: Art for "in extremis" by whitchry9

A/n: Finally getting to posting the few art pieces I did this summer, before I got *crushed and buried* by school (I might post about that last - it's not a short story, lol). First up, the piece I did for marvel_bang.

This fic is a fab story of Tony through the years, dealing with a super-crap immune system. I absolutely loved the team dynamics here, especially between Tony and Bruce, and all the hurt/comfort. :D

Fic title: in extremis
Fic summary: Definition: in extreme circumstances; especially: at the point of death. Tony survives Afghanistan, but he doesn’t expect the thing in his chest to be what nearly kills him. Over and over and over. But it turns out that having an arc reactor in your chest is really hazardous to your health. If the pneumonia doesn't kill him, the flu sure might.

WIP Big Bang: Art for "illa vincit, que si vincit" by Aenaria

A/n: THE FIFTH AND FINAL ART FOR wipbigbang !! WOOO!! I loved the concept of this one immediately, and was very curious how it could possibly work with Steve as the Beast. From the snippets I saw, Aenaria does a really excellent job of giving the story a twist and making it wonderfully original - I can't wait to read the full thing. :D

I'll admit I was a bit daunted at first, trying to figure out how to do art for the lovely snippets I got, but I had to try and create something that fit the intrigue and magic of the story. The imagery of the quiet scene where Sam (the falcon!) talks to the beast about magic breaking down stuck with me so I did my best to somehow art it. :)

Fic Title: illa vincit, que si vincit
Fic Summary: Once upon a time, there was a witch in a castle who stole a frozen Captain for her collection.

Once upon a time, an intern got lost in the woods and offered to trade herself to the castle for her friend’s life and freedom.

Once upon a time in the castle, the intern and the Captain meet and, as the magic begins to decay and the relationship grows, they learn more about the true nature of the castle, what it means to be human, and what really makes a home.

An MCU take on Beauty and the Beast, inspired by Angela Carter, the B&B Broadway musical, and so many other tales swirled together.

WIP Big Bang: Art for "Nothing Ever Happens in Sioux Falls" by Twisted_Slinky

A/n: We're onto art set number 4 of 5 for wipbigbang! :D This is actually the first fic I grabbed to art - like, gasoed and GRABBED, my friends. The second I saw it was a SPN/Teen Wolf crossover, I got really excited, and the summary sucked me in instantly. Stiles and Jody are related? YES. Stiles gets sent away from supernatural happenings only to definitely get mixed up in more supernatural happenings? DOUBLE YES. And guys, if the snippets and first couple chapters I read are anything to go by, this fic is fantastic - the voices are so on point, and twisted_slinky does a brilliant job of bringing two shows well-suited for each other, in a great, great way. I can't wait to read the rest - you need to go read it too, right now.

Fic Title: Nothing Ever Happens in Sioux Falls
Fic Summary: After realizing the extent of his son's involvement with the murders and strange occurrences that have plagued Beacon Hills over the past year, Sheriff Stilinski decides his son should spend the summer with his aunt in South Dakota, one Sheriff Jody Mills. Which means Stiles has to leave his friends and the supernatural behind for what promises to be a completely vanilla, not to mention emotionally tense, trip to nothing-happens-here Sioux Falls. When Stiles gets wind of how his late uncle passed though, he can't resist the chance to investigate, which leads him to a grumpy old salvage yard owner and a butt-load of trouble.

WIP Big Bang: Art for "Up In The Air, Junior Birdman" by Thassalia

A/n: Here's art batch #3 for wipbigbang. I HAD to have this one when I saw that the Avengers go camping - I've actually always, always wanted to write one of those myself, but never gotten around to it. The idea was too excellent to let slip by. XD The snippets I got did not disappoint, and then the lovely Thassalia offered for me to read the fic ahead of publishing and I fell madly in love. Guys, the fic is brilliant and pitch perfect. GO READ IT. I'm not generally a Bruce/Natasha fan, unless they're written exceptionally well, but Thassalia does it - there's chemistry and amazing characterization and shows how they actually could work really nicely together (with plenty of delicious UST and angst, natch).

I absolutely had to try my hand at recreating them all sitting around the campfire singing songs, as it was my favorite snippet, then one of my fav scenes in the whole fic.

Thank you, Thassalia, for being a great Bang partner and writing such a brilliant fic. :D I'm so, so glad I got to do art for it! :D

WIP Big Bang: Art for "Never Will I Forget The Deep Shadows, Never Will I Waste The Moon’s Light"

A/n: My second art entry for wipbigbang! The summary of this fab fic by afteriwake snagged my attention and I had to scoop it up for arting. :D Legit I had SO much fun doing the title art - 'shopping magic into Sherlock and Moriarty's hands, then creating the glow of it on their hands and clothes might've been my fav thing in any Bang art I did this summer. XD I don't even know why, I just was literally giggling with glee over it as I painted and layered and made the glow happen.

I worried about pulling off the awesome visual of the floating, magic/energy filled room when Sherlock loses himself in his violining, but it was such a beautiful moment, I had to try, going with something more visually colorful to represent more of the feel of the moment than what actually physically was "shown", if that makes sense.

Huge thanks to afteriwake for being a lovely, lovely Bang partner! <3

A/n: Here comes my first (of five!?!! I know, I know) art posts for the wipbigbang 2017!! I found a most excellent partner in wildcard_47 who was excellent to collaborate with and helped me immensely with cap hunting and suggestions to make the art better. <3 I haven't done art for Mad Men before, so it was nice to dip my toe in a little. Plus, I got to figure out how to recolor a black and white photo, which was an interesting challenge. XD

Supernatural/J2 Big Bang: Art for "A Step Beyond Logic" by Firesign10

A/n: I've been a bit of a lurker on the spn_j2_bigbang Supernatural/Big Bang for a couple years now. I'm not much of a slash or RPF shipper myself, but the people there often turn out some really great works, and I've wanted to play in the sandbox too! ;D Last year I missed art claims, so I made sure to be more on top of it this year so I could scoop something gen to art, and I'm SO happy with the fic I got!!

It's FAB, you guys. The angst is delicious, the feels are high, and the story unexpected. I thoroughly enjoyed working with firesign10 to do this art, and come up with something appropriately haunting for her fic. :)

Fic Title: A Step Beyond Logic
Fic Summary: Starting when Gadreel kills Kevin, Dean suffers a series of personal losses that devastate him. He continues to hunt, but goes down a path of moral ambiguity, self-searching, and analysis that lead him to take drastic action.
